I had a girl at the pet store recommend it to me. They don't sell it where she works, but she swears by it. I'm gonna order some and give it a try....

So if you dose fuel, do you still need to dose iodine?

I used it in my 75 every time I did a top off, but this was because I was NOT using RO water. I still use it in in my 150 with RO.......
Bottom line: If NOT using RO water, I highly recommend to ensure those trace elements are in there to offset or mitigate the impact of the impure water. If using RO, I would still recommend, but I don't think it is as critical. Caveat: This is all "my opinion" based on my experience. I have know scientific data to back it up......so no flaming please
