AGRA-ALIVE. By Carob sea

Hello reefers,
I'm starting a new build which I will post the set up soon. I have some questions about the Live sand. Is there a certain way to add it to the tank.

Let me re phrase...

Should I leave power heads, skimmer and pumps off until it settles.

Or just pumps and heads.

I've been out of the game for a year or so and I'm getting mixed reviews from fellow reefers and my local store

Moved to this forum as more on topic.

I would keep at least one pump running to prevent the water from stagnating. The desirable bacteria in the live sand will die if that happens, and there will be toxic byproducts from anaerobic decay.

I would leave in for an hour or two to settle before you stir the water up
