MP10's vs MP40's
Hello!
Getting ready to setup a new 120gallon reef tank (48x24x24) with mostly SPS corals and minimal rockwork, for flow I currently have 6 MP10wQD. I would like to keep this build as simple/clean as possible so was thinking of using 2 MP40wQD instead...would this be ok or should I stick with the 6 MP10"s? Thanks for the help! |

How thick is the glass? You may have issues using the MP10. 2 MP40's should provide plenty of flow in a 4' tank. Maybe add a MP10 to the back wall if you can.

I think it would be a no brainer. Go with 2 pumps instead of 6.
