Building a IM 25 Gallon
Greetings long time listener of this forum first time post.
Used to keep 3 tanks in high school about 10 years ago..mostly cheap equipment and DIY had a lot of success though. My wife gave me permission to spend some $ and start a real reef though. Plan on letting my 3 year old daughter choose the livestock. Seeing as she’s helped put it all together and work on the stand. My little 1 year old just like smacking the tank right now. On day 5 of cycle today, and the outline of the stand. Still need to do finishing touches and put a door on it. Running a Innovative marine AIO 25 Gallon AquaMaxx Prism LED 48 Watt RO NS80 Skimmer which is overflowing like crazy CaribSea 20 LBS live sand Hydor Koralia Nano Circulation Pump/Powerhead 425gph 100 Watt Heater from Ehiem Tunez Osmolator Nano 3152 Auto Top Off ATO with a 7 gallon Resivoir 20 LBS of CaribSea’s new “Life Rock” Look forward to sharing my build with ya’ll Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

BTW that’s pallet wood it is sitting on, looks uneven but there is a leveling mat underneath the tank.

Nice, it looks like you're off to a great start! I'll be following along, as I'm just starting to plan my IM 25 Lagoon build. I was interested in the black sand, and now that I see it in your tank, it looks pretty good. Are you using the Hawaiian or the Indo-Pacific black?
