I am currently in the process of setting up a dedicated system for many pipefish. Here was my old pair of Corythoichthys haematopterus. The new tank for my pipe fish is 36''x24''x10'' rimless starphire... seagrass/sps/clam tank.

Anyone know if its safe to mix different species of pipefish? I'm thinking a pair of bandeds and dragons? What are the nicest ones out there right now? These are the two commonly available and ones I have experience in caring for.

Thanks

I've heard really good things about them. I think I'll have to try them out.

Liveaquaria just sent me a multibanded. Great shape, came out of the bag healthy and happy.
They are a great place to find pipes. They have an option so you can get an email when a species you want comes into stock.
