Calling Experience Gigantea Keepers.

Hello,

Looking for your opinions on this Gigantea.

The overall conditions look great. My only concerned is its mouth is open slightly, should I be put off by this?

Its been in the Uk for about 3 weeks and has already been treated with antibiotics so I'm told.

What do you think looking for experienced keepers views.

Thanks

It looks good -- tentacle length, fully extended oral disc with typical folds, brown tinge indicating a decent zoox population -- are all indicative of a healthy specimen. I'm not concerned about the mouth, as mine look like this frequently.

Keep in mind that there's no 100% guarantee that it'll survive because it's still considered a fresh import (even after 3 weeks), but this one looks a lot better than many others I've seen, so if the price is right, my recommendation would be to go for it.

I’d go for it. Looks healthier than any I’ve seen available from any online or local pet store. Maybe ask if they could feed it a couple mysis shrimp. IME if they will eat, they are healthy

He looks good. Should have no problem with him especially if he is local to you.
