Is this still recoverable?
Hi there,
Bought a frag pack about a week ago and a Green Cyphastrea almost immediately started retracting up to the point that is just a few green dots in a piece of rock. It's been like this for about a week now. I have it in the center of the tank, not directly under he lights and mid flow. Anything I can do to help is recover, if at all possible?

Those are pretty durable. If it’s not wasting away quickly you may be ok. I would try feeding it to help it out. I once recovered an entire dead cyphastrea from an orange colored smudge on a piece of epoxy. Kept it in the tank, had zero polyps. Today, 6 Year’s later it’s a baseball sized colony!

Do you have a par meter, they don’t like much light. I have a bunch of them in a tank with chalices and only run B/V LEDs over them

Good point. I keep mine on the bottom of a 180, partially shaded under an overhang

Thank you folks. I moved mine to the sand. Let's see if it recovers.
