Just joining the chorus here Matt I agree with what everyone has already said, just stunning mate and that scape of yours just gets better and better with the acro's all growing in

Hey Ted, I'm not unhappy with my shots, in general. I just get less happy with them as they get wider out because that corresponds with a drop in clarity.
Thanks you very much! I'll try to post (gotta take them first) some wider top downs today or tomorrow n

Thanks, Kevin, having my tank called smick by you or schmick by Dom is high praise.
The way that Fiji is growing since I chopped it down, it won't be long!

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

I have come across the term "negative space" for the first time in your thread Matt. I have read up on it. I hope you keep some negative space in your tank and resist the temptation to fill it up with more rocks and stuff. I can see this space in the front eroding already. Just saying.

Yeah! It's cool. When it's zoomed out all the way, it's field of view is so wide that it sees the edges of my viewing box..

Front of centre section.

Ok have to go closer.. The pair of same species, different coloured frags:

And for Andrew, Furiosa up close and personal.

Bonsai growing back from where I broke off the frag.

That's so cool, and is the only thing about having a shallow tank that really bugs me- there isn't enough water above the corals to get some whole colonies in frame with the iPhone.

Thanks! The fish eye is a fun lens to play with. If you want to see some fantastic fish eye shots, go to the very beginning of watchguy's thread 'through the looking glass'.. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful tank and great shots! I agree that the full tank top down is awesome! It's crazy to see how some of those large colonies are almost hidden from a full front view!

I actually just picked up two pieces like the twins, however they both came in white but healthy. Can't wait to see if they turn out like yours.

Beautiful shots as always!

Thanks, Ted! I love being able to walk up to a tank and not be able to see all of the corals right away. The biggest pleasure I get is when it takes some time to really find all of the colonies in a tank. Even more fun is when somebody stands in front of your tank and goes 'wow' and then pauses and says 'oh.... Wow' because they saw something else, they hadn't noticed at first..

Thanks, Dom it takes a a great amount of obsessive compulsive disorder and a certain lack of responsibility with money to achieve this!!

Thanks, man. I'll go check it hose babies out. That's the best way to get healthy frags.. Pale and colourless.. Those are the most fun to watch develop.
