I don't know if I ever seen anyone selling them. They are usually hitch-hickers found on Live Rock. Some people consider them pests. I have have one or two of them and think they are pretty neat, just not that color.

I'd like to have a bunch. I think my eel tank will be perfect for them. I have tube Anemones and several kinds or Mushrooms and Ricordia in there. I'd be glad to buy a rock covered with them off of someone.

If it's Corynactis you're looking for (like in the link provided), they are typically a colder water species. I don't know that they would make it in a tropical temp aquarium.
Cheers Mike

Cold water anemones found...you guessed it....off the cold water coast of the Pacific Northwest, generally temps are around 50*-60*F... not a species to be placed in a tropical temp reef tank like most that range from 75*-82*F |

Many people mistakingly ID ball anemones as strawberry nems. Ball anemones are hitchhikers and live in low light areas and can tolerate our temps.
