Found in my Sump
I was checking on my chaeto I bought a few weeks back from the algae barn and found these. They look like nudibranchs. Never had them in my reef until I bought this chaeto. Any idea what these things are and what they eat. There are quite a few in my five now.

Look like nudibranch to me. Do you have any zoas that look like them?
I had them, and they were eating my zoas(they literally looked just like the zoa polyp so it was super hard to see them). I must have gotten them early or I was lucky. Spent a few days picking off every one I could see. Never had a problem with them since.

Nope. I literally have no zoas in this tank. That’s what got me. I only have one monti and it is red. Cannot find any in the tank just the sump.

I would just pick them off and keep an eye for them in my DT. Maybe some others with a little more experience with them will chime in.

Likely a type of aeolid nudibranch and should usually just be removed to be on the safe side

you could get a yellow coris wrasse or alike and stick him in the sump for a while....you wont have anymore of these nudis after a couple weeks

If you're lucky they could be Berghia. Hard to tell from the photo.
