Hybrid Decision - ATI vs. Giesemann vs. Aquatic Life

I have 6 x T5 as part of my Red Sea Max 250 setup. I have been playing with the idea of switching to LED, but many friends are telling me not to go all the way to LEDs. So I am now looking into hybrids and cannot make up my mind between these three setups ...

1. ATI LED Hybrid Powermodule 4x39 Watt T5 / 2x75 Watt LED

2. Giesemann AURORA Hybrid 900mm

3. Aquatic Life frame with 2 X Hydra 26 and 4x39 T5

The price in Europe for the three above is about the same. I like the 1. or 2., but I have been told that their LEDs are not as good as Hydra or Kessil. Number 3. would give me that option, but the T5 are not cooled and cannot be dimmed.

So any of you have an opinion and/or experience with the the above?

Haven't run mine yet, but that's the route I went , 3 HD26's, (48x24 tank). To get around the ramping up, the led's will start and the T5's will come on later. No need to dim the T5"s.

I have the Ati power module and the leds work really well.
The powermodule is my favorite light after using metal halide, kessils, radions, ghl Mithras.

-Coolness/aesthetics factor=Gieseimann
-More friendly to your wallet is Aquatic Life if you had LED. You also get the option of switching out or adding addition LED at a later stage BUT its 2 power cables from the AL and 2 from your 2x Hydra.....whereas the ATI and Giesemann is a sngle power cable.

I'm in exactly the same position as you
Giesemann 1200m
2-3 Hydra with AL at a later date if I feel I need T5
ATI Powermodule
Orphek V4 or Compacts

The poll results are starting to point to the Aquatic Life frame and adding my own LED to it.

I was starting to lean towards that option myself due to the flexibility of putting any LED I want into the solution and also pulling it out if not happy.

The cost is not a cheaper solution for me because I don't have any existing LED.

Any reason why Hydra 26 is not the one I should be putting in? The frame will take the following types ...

Aqua Illumination (AI) Hydra 26 HD
Aqua Illumination (AI) Hydra 52 HD
Aqua Illumination (AI) Prime HD

Kessil A360WE, A360NE
Kessil AP700

EcoTech Marine Radion XR15w
EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w

you may want to look at the Giesemann stellar fixture that should be arriving before the holidays.

I will check it out. Several people were telling me that their fixtures are very nice, but they are not the best in LED. How do they compare to Hydra or Kessil?
