Ecoxotic cannon LED floodlights? Large tank Users please chime in!

I haven't been able to find anything about these things ever coming to the market. Anybody know what happened with these? Seems like an interesting option for large reef tanks... hundreds, not thousands of gallons (like some of the other cannons on the market).

Obviously the audience for large, high powered lighting fixtures is not nearly as big as it is for smaller (100W-ish) fixtures... but it is nice to see when options like this arise. I have 9 fixtures on my 300DD but would love it if I could make the change and have only 3. I'm sure those with even larger tanks feel the same.

Does anyone have an elegant solution to this "issue?" Or do you just run a dozen or more LED fixtures on your 400-500+ gallon tank? I'd love to hear more about this!!

The oval shaped were on the market.
Looks like these are designed for public aquariums but hey there is a phone #.

One of my lfs tried these and switched to MH lumenbright pendants very quickly when they did not perform as advertised. IF you are trying to cut down on the amount of led fixtures try Orphek.

Your Orpheks were what prompted my thread in fact. I'd love to buy those from you but just can't rationalize it [to my wife]. Otherwise, they would be the perfect choice, I completely agree!
