Chalice frag question
I have an alien eye which I need to trim back. I have been reading on most of the forums and it looks like most people take their corals out of the tank before they cut them.
Mine is fully encrusted unto two separate rocks for the most part so that is not an option for me. I bought a "coral fragging" kit and it basically came with some bone cutters and a few surgical knifes. I was hoping I could cut some pieces off with a surgical knife in the water but not sure if it will cut through. Looking for any advice or ways to get a few frags out of my chalice without destroying it. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

I don't know about the knife but you can easily break pieces off with your hand. May not be the prettiest though.
Maybe heavy duty scissors would work.
