Is this light enough for a 12 gallon tank?
http://www.marinedepot.com/Current_U...FIT5T5-vi.html
Its a 12 gallon long (35.4" Long x 8.3 x 9.4"). I am going to go with the 30 inch light and im looking to grow at least softies, maybe some SPS. Should I go with something with individual reflectors?

For softies it will be fine. For any SPS in my opinion.... not enough light.

i would say it would work just fine because of how shallow the tank is as long as u have the corals closer to center of bulbs should be fine

I want to build one of these myself. The tank is only like 9" high and wide. You should be able to grow just about any corals with 2 T5's IMO. You should do a build thread. I'd love to follow along.
