Sump bubble trap leaking
Hi my bubble trap in my sump is slightly leaking from one side.
I filled the two chambers either side to check for leaks. The water drops down in to filter section then runs over, under then over. It's only a small leak but do I need to reseal it or will it be OK? Thanks |

Unless the bubbles make it to the pump & back into the tank you should be OK.
However OCD people would reseal it.

I'd say if it is just a tiny drip then no worries, it won't be a problem with flow running through. I had a hole in my silicone for the last baffle when I tested mine so I filled that. If it was a drip I would have let it slide.

I would fix it..
But depending on the specific layout of your sump it may not matter.. I would still fix it though personally.. You aren't in a rush.. do it right..
