Which t5 light setup is better in your opinion?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded my Orbit IC LED to a quad t5ho fixture. I'm still using the Orbit as my supplement lighting for blue outside the t5 light schedule.

I went with the ATI "most popular" bulb setup and I don't know if I am liking how blue it is.. This setup consists of all AIT bulbs 3x Blue Plus and 1x Coral Plus. This is pictured in the first image. The second is with 2x ATI Blue Plus 1x Fluval Power Spectrum and 1x Fluval Actinic I. I think I might switch back to the ATI/Fluval setup.. thoughts?

Have you tried switching positions of the bulbs? You would be very surprised how much the color can seem to switch to our eyes by just changing bulb positions.

I currently run:
3 blue +
2 coral +
1 actninic

All ATI bulbs.
The coral + bulbs add quite a bit of white to the blues.

As mentioned above, in your 4 bulb setup I would also switch out a blue + for a coral +.

Would the actinic benefit coral growth more than a coral +?

Here is how I have the bulbs laid out:

rear
