What watt leds

So I have been out of the hobby for ten years. I am getting back in with a 20 long reef. I have done a lot of reading on leds but it seems to leave me with more questions then answers. So what watt leds would I need for softies and LPS tank? A half, one, or three watt leds? Also any links to some good reading would be appreciated.

I don't think you can use the watt as measurement with LEDs actually.

They penetrate deeper and the watt might not reflect the quality of the LED itself. Go for good LEDs and look up what kind of PAR readings the big selling LED tops have, they pas out the information freely if they are trustworthy firms.
I hope that you'll have great fun.
