What is this?
I have no idea what it is, it seems to have formed from some crushed coral on the bottom of my tank? Any guesses?

Are you talking about the red cynobacteria in the pic ?
That was pretty much all I could see.

it might be a sponge of some kind, give it a month to grow a bit

My mom thought it might be a Zoe... guess i will have to wait. either way I have had no Zoe's or sponges in my tank....

So i gave it a month or so, here it is now. Any ideas??
It got buried by accident once but seemed to pull itself up out of the gravel.. Here are some pictures from a couple different settings on my camera.. |
