Tunze 6255 broken wires?

I have a 6255 that is basically new (1.5 months of use) that is intermittently stopping. I think I traced it back to the position of the wires as they enter the pump, as when I move them around the pump starts and stops. The power supply works fine on a different controller so I don't think that is the problem. Is it possible that the wires broke internally or disconnected, or could it be a different problem.
Thanks in advance

PS this is the same pump that I was recommended to use a 6105 prop on, but I had decided to stick with the original prop, so that is not the problem

It is possible but would be unusual, can I get a photo of the cable where it meets the motor? Pumps made in the last year have a pretty robust cable with a strain relief bushing, and I would be very surprised if one has a cable issue.

Can you email me a copy of the receipt? It is a newer pump, there are 5 small wires in the cable but such an issue is really rare.
