ATO Pump Question

I have a new exo terra circulation pump laying around, that i am considering using in my auto top off system. This pump is UL listed, but is designed for a reptile waterfall. Im wondering if anyone knows if this would be safe for a reef aquarium. Here is some info, http://www.exo-terra.com/en/products/repti_flo_200.php. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't see why not....It pumps water and is sealed. Does it have any lubrication fluids in it? Or does it use metal pieces to hold it together (screws, nails, grenades, etc?)

Your probably right. I guess im just being over cautious. I dont think it has external screws or lubrication. My main concern is that it uses some sort of toxic or rust-able metal internaly.

The pump doesn't come apart, so I can only see one metal piece. It is a rod that holds the impeller in place. Should this concern me, or that normal.
