Coral ID please
My moms had this in her tank for 4-5 years. It's doing really great but we've never really known what its called. I've posted on a few facebook sites i am on and have been told
hairy mushroom fuzzy mushroom st thomas mushroom elegance coral From those choices to me it looks like a st Thomas but i figured i would get more opinions here then i could off Facebook.

Not the best pics (sorry ), maybe some clearer pics will yield a better id. Is that the way coral is positioned in the tank, truly on a ledge like that, or does the pic need to be rotated? Even with those pics, I would disagree with it being an elegance. St thomas mushroom is possible. No other mushroom really fits that look, and I would expect an elegance to have much longer, flowing tentacles. My initial thought was either a bta or sebae anemone, but I assume you would have seen it move around at some point, would have been pretty obvious. Better pics and maybe a less blue light pic would help out. Thanks,

Okay, rotated the pic a few times, I think it may be a grape bubble coral under purple/blue light. Thats my vote. Thanks,

Pics are not really good but my guess is that this might be a Lavender Hairry Mushroom. How big would u say it is from one edge to another edge
Here are some that I have in my tank do the polyps look similar

Pics need to be rotated sorry about that.
Also its not an anemone as its never moved around the tank Here's a better picture that doesn't need rotated. There are probably 8 + in this picture but when they are completly opened up it just looks like 1 big piece. I think its a St Thomas from comparing pictures to google. Everything else that's been suggested doesn't look close to me at all.

its hard to tell with the camera ur using. Maybe a higher resolution camera would help as it is hard to see the polyps clearly. Its a really nice coral.
Post a pic of the coral you think it closely resembles lol. From your last pic it looks like the polyps/tentacles actually have a tip to them. hmmm. Curious

I really think you have a lavender hairry mushroom there buddy with green base. As for color wise i think its a bit transparent as the lighting may not bee very strong or it may be due to a different reason.
Lavender Hairry mushroom could have blue or green base. Mine as you could see in the pic has a blue base. I found this pic on the net of a LHM with green base.

The tentacles are not rounded on it. Only way i can describe it is more of a ruffled looked.
Also picture was taken using an iphone 5 and the lights on the tank are reef breeders leds.

hmmm very close resemblance.
I tried earlier to google image st thomas but didn't have any luck. You think you might have a bleached version of this? From what i could make out on your pic it does look very similar.

It's not bleached.
Its always been the pink color with green base and the reef breeders leds have only been on the tank maybe 4 months. Before that it was GLO daul T5 54W fixture. I plan on getting one of them on Wednesday when i am at my moms house again for my tank. So by the weekend i will post some better pictures with my wife's $600 + Nikon camera lol.

After looking at some of these other pictures that have been posted, I think AwwNuts is correct, Lavender Mushroom. Check this out.
