Shark
Hello everyone. I'm new to this site but had a question. I have a banded cat shark and wanted to make sure that he gets his proper nutrition when being fed and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a type of food that they feed theirs. thanks

Ours at the shop eat a variety of foods. Silversides, scallops, squid, krill, raw shrimp, and shark formula (Ocean Nutrition). The pups in our other DT eat all of the above excluding scallops and squid.

Feed variety. Also, remember these guys eat a lot of natural food high in iodine and will develop goiters and have major thyroid issues if you don't account for that in their diet.

What it sounds like you have is a Chiloscyllium punctatum known as a Brown Banded Bamboo shark Remember they get big and grow fast! |
