Question for reidi breeders
When are you starting to feed bbs? And when do you see the most mortalities? I have been breeding erectus for over a year & clownfish for at least 5 years.

I normally start my reidi fry off with rotifers enriched with Dan's Food with Beta Glucan from seahorsesource.com for the first two weeks.
The second two weeks I use a mixture of rotifers and ongrown bbs all enriched with DF. I go with just enriched bbs starting the fifth week. However, it still depends on the size of the fry you get as sometimes the larger fry at birth are able to accept the bbs. I don't find any repeatable pattern as far as mortalities go. Thanks Rayjay, I wouldn't think rotifers would be in the tank after 3 weeks.
