I would believe that silversides are a little too big for lps corals---frozen cyclopeeze would be adequate

What kind of photoperiod are people using for their lps tanks.
I have an east facing window so the sun has been coming in pretty strong from 8 -12 noon.
I was thinking of cutting back on the halides to six hours and the attinics to 8hours
(I am not being cheap but am trying to bring down the energy costs now that I am unemployed again.)
