After a slight delay due to torrential rains and some technical design adjustment , we are finally moving forward with the foundation .

1) I have had the moorish idols for more than 2 years ( current tank)
2) It is like putting aquarium in a court yard .
3) The viewing acrylic panels are 90 mm thick.

Its great that you're making such good progress. What season is it over there? I know it's spring/summer in Australia, and it's winter in the the U.S.

Is this going to be a fish only tank? If so lighting only has to be aesthetically pleasing to the eye since there's no coral to demand anything strong.

At the moment we are at the beginning of our winter season but it is still around 30 C . It will be a reef tank not fish only and therefore we are looking for a deep penetration LED to aid natural sunlight.

Construction in that part of the world always scares me

I agreed with you, in the past it can be scary ! But nowadays the law is very strict and authorities do pursue construction related works seriously . The construction of this aquarium is not a DIY job but under supervision of senior civil engineer and built by a professional construction company . So you can rest assured that it is safe and sound . Please do come back to Thailand to enjoy more Singha beer and we do have many more varieties of Thai beers for your consumption too !!!!

If I remember correctly you will build flow combination of closed loop and stream. If you allow my mind forget closed loop and buy a second ECM 75. With two of this pumps you can simulate fantastic ebb and flow variants and also waves. Closed Loop will need much more energy also pipes etc. Also in the area of the closed loop you can't put a coral

Totally agreed ! However my closed loops are used for different kinds of flitering processes and making waves are just by products.
Loop 1 - sand filter
Loop 2 skimmer
Loop 3 skimmer
Loop 4 chiller
Loop 5 chiller
Loop 6 refugium
