Copepods alive in copper tank?

Am I crazy or can copepods survive in copper treated tanks? There's hundreds on the glass, the copper levels of the tanks are 0.5, salinity is 1.020. I used both salifert and seachem test kits. I use Copper Sulfate to treat. Fish who showed ich before are healthy now, so its working.

Is this just a species that somehow will survive?

pods are very resilient. It does not surprise me that they survived. I have had pods survive salinity levels as high as 1.033...they are like roaches....

I'm not so worried about salinity... Isn't copper supposed to kill inverts?
