Fighting Conch- Herbivore or Omnivore?

So I was always under the impression that these guys are herbivores. Yet yesterday, my newly acquired specimen got quite excited when I fed squid to the tank. I put a piece by him and he seemed interested but I think it may have been to big, if he wanted it at all. Thoughts?

Omnivore. He may need extra feeding if your sand bed is new/bare.

Yeah, I'd recommend supplementing. They're great characters, keep him alive!

I know, so nifty. I love their "snouts." Would nori or meat be better? Or does it really matter?
