What is your experience with the Achilles tang? Ever have one in this reef tank?

Just read all 43 pages.
Beautiful tank! How are the crinoids in your DSR doing? If you still have it/them, how long have you had it in your system? I love the butterfly reef as well! Thanks for sharing.

The crinoids are still there 2 of 3 I placed a while ago. They usually last about 8-10 months |

Hey Glenn, It's ingenious how simple and effective your lighting system is. I've seen another picture where you are able to push your T5 lamps over to make room so you can get in the tank and do maintenance. Your endcaps appear to be sealed and are probably water resistant as well. That is my guess anyway. What brand of T5 endcaps do you use? I've looked around and have been unable to find ones online that look like yours. Are they anything special?

The caps are made from 25mm shrink sleeve ; electrical heat shrink sleeve ; heat-shrink tubing ; shrinkdown hose*... I use a tywrap at the end to seal it of. |

OK, I did some searching and I think this is what you mean by shrink sleeve. Did I get that right?
Good news, I just found straight endcaps. Thanks

Glenn, does your clown tang swim fast laps a lot or does it ever cruise or rest?

My EZ550 reef is getting beter and better everyday.
I place some coral from my DSR mainreef into here. The mainreef is getting to crowded and some coral are disliking that. Due to space, flow and light limitation at the bottom regions https://youtu.be/pBUS75Okzcw |

Glenn, are you t5's just resting on the brace of your tank? Then the top of the canopy is all reflective material?
