See you tomorrow. Hopefully that will lead to more updates. Other than drilling holes and getting some more plumbing I don't have any good updates today.

Going with black pvc this time to go with the black sand in the tank. I know I will have to go back but this is what I thought it would take Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

LOL...I've been there/Am there.
Getting the 55 to you means I can move forward on my system and start updating it too...

3RD trip to get more plumbing tomorrow. Need at least 2 more unions to do this right and a few more 45 elbows. Made the decision to have the tank up against the wall verses having a peninsula. Boss said I already took up too much of the storage room space.

This is where I am at now. Yes, I plan on keeping the kessil arms in that position so the screen top on each side will have the corner taken out to fit the arm and the return nozzle loc line. I know it looks like weird tv antenna but it will be so much easier this way to get the tops off. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

I'm confused...why drill the bottom tank if you're just draining right down over the top of it?

It's almost ready for the plumbing to be leak tested. I have had a busy few months. I should be done with it but, it's wedding season and my wife and I are at that time in our lives where we have a wedding, baby shower, or engagement party every weekend. 3 weddings down 7 more to go this year. Fortunately we are only in the wedding party for 2 of the next 7.

Had to build a new shelf to hold it so it was easier to see if the bulb was working and it's also easy to take off line and clean.

I added an octospawn to the 180 display tank on the 3rd of July. I think I should put some growth shots up just so I can look back on them later.

I also got this idea from a local dog park. They have pvc towers and people leave their plastic bags in them by putting them in the top. Then other people take the bags when they need them for their dogs. So I thought "I got a bunch of plastic bags from the fish store and I always need them again later." So I came up with this pvc thing out of scrap that hangs on the wall and I can grab bags out of when I need to.

Finally finished the plumbing for the 75 gallon tank to connect to the rest of the system. I filled part of the additional tanks with heated SW and placed a power head and LR in them. I can only make ~100 gallons in a 2 day period with my mixing station so I should have it all full and connected Tuesday.
