Lol, what didnt you like? Many baby fish look less than perfect. Syd's CB Hawaiian Flames were grey, had zero color and a year later, they are stunning. Same with the Candies and Anths that are out. Some of these tiny fish just need time to grow into their own skin.

Tanks and fish at Macna can always come with problems. Remember the entire Gp tank that was wipped out? All thigs considered, I thought they looked great- fiesty, picking on rocks and each other, eating all sorts of food, dry and prepared, and tiny! These come with a 30day guarantee, Matt and Nuri are great guys, and imho, this is a great project for all to support.

The monopoly that has virtually every Conspic, esp baby-sized, going straight to Asia is a huge bummer and is virtually unbreakable. This is not going to change and will probably get worse.

3 years ago I got the 2.5 inch from Kevin for practically the same as these. That was the smallest that I have seen in the US in the last decade. The one they sold last month was over 3 inches and was more $. These are 1-1.25 inches, for about the same $, and are CB, and are in the US.

Everything right about this.

Huge congrats to Matt, Nuri, Poma et al!

You need to get a bunch.

How close are you to fish?

Sorry we didnt hook up over the summer.

Ted

Hi Ted. There was one that looked to me like was developing velvet or ick and had stress pattern. And one other looked like lateral line. I'll be cycling by end of October. !

I bet a Conspic/Blueline hybrid is going to be nuts. At what size would you expect to have an idea of the final appearance?

So you've picked up two juvi conspics and a hybrid conspic?

Were these videos shot in your tanks?

The juvenile conspics are very cool! Where did you find them? That's a fish that I would love to get one day. Has someone been able to successfully breed them?

There may be others breeding them too, so not sure this is where he got them, but Poma labs has been breeding Chaetodontoplus angels:
