Seri Problem

The problem the seri has is that i'm going to let the red chalice eat it.

besides that it seems to be in good condition for an ugly green seri frag.......

Your reef is looking good and very colourful indeed, Andrew. I can see some non-sps creatures are creeping in there too.

Hey Mate,
Thanks for the FTS, this is exactly what a shallow tank should look like, you have mastered the art of bonzai my friend, creating rock designs, placing them symmetrically as to diversify with contrasts of color, shape, and sizes, just WOW! I can stare at this tank all day. I tried a low bommie thing, but with 21" of tank height, it looked stupid, so I have now filled the empty space, and the tank looks more aesthetically correct I believe the design of the tank helps to dictate the structure, and you have done this perfectly

I am curious as to how the green birdsnest got in there in the first place! It didn't just fall in the tank . I bet the birdsnest outgrows what's around it before it dies.

How is growth in your tank these days Andrew?

Dave gave me the green seri from his own tank lol, it has sentimental value Perry

Growth is pretty slow, i add 230ml alk a day but i think a lot of that gets swallowed up by the coralline BB. I stopped worrying about tbh.

Aaaah... I take a deep breath, release and relaaaaaax when I look at this tank, Andrew.
Amazing bonsai scape, stunning colors.... and good old Aussie ‘sentimental’ friendship.
A harmonious, glorious mix of Mother Nature, art and design..
Then... I see a raging hot lava flow heading towards a poor stranded bird of sentiment ..
shackled and oblivious to the boiling death rage creeping towards it!!!
Aaaaaarrrrrrggghhhhh..

.. however, agreed, it will make a cool chalice shape... not unlike the uncoverings of Pompeii
Andrew, this is some cool *** reverse reefing archeology..

Nice to hear from you Andrew!
