Ecoxotic or Marineland?
Hello everybody, hope you all are doing great and happy 4th of july!
Well, i recently got a 110 gallon tank, 150cm X 50cm X 60cm (60X20X24 inch) which will be FOWLR tank so far with one or two anemone and I was wondering which LED light I should consider from these two: I have searched and came up to a conclusion to use one of these, as they fit my budget and are in a good size for the installation. So help me choose one of these and please tell me why did you suggest it: 1. Marineland Double bright LED (48 inch model) 2. Marineland Reef LED 3. Ecoxotic Stunner LED 48 inch: - 2 X 8000K White - 1 X 12K White/445nm Blue So in total 3 strips of 48 inch stunners also let me know if you think some other configuration of the ecoxotic will be better. please reply soon and let me know if there are better options in the same budget. thanks |

I have both and the Marineland Reef is good but the spread willl not light a tank 20" wide. The stunners are would be better than the other for a more even light, just not as bright.

If the budget is a concern I'd HIGHLY recommend looking at either Oceanrevive (T247 has a timer) or reefbreeders value fixtures..
They are much better fixtures for the price. |
