foam
90 gallon new setup for 3 days. 80 pounds of live sand and 80 pounds of Cribsea rock. Water change needed or just need to wait longer? A lot of micro bubbles, but I knot that is to be expected due to new skimmer.

Did you wash the filter socks with soap and not rinse them properly?
Sure seems like it..

I wish that was the case..... I have done fiahtanks for 20 years and never seen this before. I also have never used this Caribsea life rock before.
Any other ideas? |

Wow. I'd run carbon to pull out whatever is going on. I suspect chemicals from brand new socks.

I am running a little bit of carbon. I will triple it when I get home. I was thinking that as well.
