Help please I think montipora has pest
So I just bought a montipora the other day. I’m still pretty new to the hobby and haven’t mastered doing research and then going and buying the coral so I bought this coral on the fly without knowing how to look for signs of pest. I thought I saw something but for some reason I paid no mind to it. Today I saw a YouTube video and learned how they can have nudibranks and what I saw very closely resemble one. I took some pictures can anyone tell me if I may have these things? I will keep watch for the next couple of days. I just learned you can dip coral I will start doing this!

To Reef Central I agree that we would need more information to help.

Take out the Monti and put in a bucket with some DT water. Dip and swish in Bayer, use a toothbrush Insecticide (SPS needs the strong stuff) to clean and inspect carefully. Look for small whitish egg sacks and remove.
You really don’t want these multiplying in your DT. If in fact you see more, in the future, six lines wrasses pick them off well |
