jebao dcq

So i've been looking around for a decent, budget friendly dc return pump and have been snooping around at the jebaos. The model numbers confuse me, i dont know whats the new or old models. is the dcq the newest? any experience with them or advice? Thanks

Seems like the DCQ is the new one.. Not sure beyond the red parts whats so new about it..

Many people that I've seen have been quite happy with the DCP (including myself)..
Mine has been working amazing and is VERY quiet..
Ive got the DCP6500 on my 80G tank not running anywhere near full power.. (I think I've got it at like 50% power)

edit: seems the DCQ has some "wave" function... Kind of interesting.. I suspect its some "surge" functionality..

If it is like the ecotech vectra,
wave function probably similar to ecotech vectra closed loop mode.

memory mode is probably similar to setting a min and max value for the pump.

max value I think is useful. don't want to accidentally set the pump (which I run at 50%) to 100% and blowing water out of the tank.

min value is useful as it will be the speed it will run during feed mode, instead of completely shutting off.

I don't own a vectra, but I think that's how those features work on vectra.

Let us know how it works.

Bang Good has DCQ models for cheaper than amazon an eBay. ex: 8000 model is $119.99 with free shipping. Since it is Being shipped from China it would take few weeks to get delivered into US.

https://www.banggood.com/Jecod-Jebao...p-1244083.html

Not too much info so far, other than wave mode and 4-pole electronic motor, whatever that is supposed to do.
