Reef Nube....Can anyone help ID my hitchhikers?
I'm still quite new at this hobby, and I appreciate the knowledge I am learning on Reef Central.
My tank is about 3 months old, and I've started to notice some freeloaders hanging around a piece of my original live rock. There are 2 guys I'm worried about. Can anyone help me identify the critters and let me know if they're OK or let know if I need to eradicate? TIA, Jayson I have 2 pictures of these white spiny worm-like things. I haven't noticed them moving, as they always seem to be in the same place.... This next guys looks like a greenish/tan branch, located in my live sand below the same live rock with the white "worms".

#1 - Not sure.
#2 - Maybe peanut worms? Do they move around? #3 - Do you happen to have any anthelia coral? Looks like it might be a piece of one. Have you seen it move? |

None of the white things have moved. And they don't seem to be growing either.

Picture 2 looks like feather dusters
Picture 3 looks like a bristle worm If so, no reason for concern.

Harmless tube worms and what looks like it may be some macroalgae that I commonly see called Red Razor Bryothamnion
No worries there at all..
