Clean used chiller

So I bought a used chiller on ebay and I was wondering what I should run threw it to clean it before I hook it up to my system?

Vinegar. I would do a 50/50 vinegar/water soak inside of it and then flush it out well with water. That should remove any buildup inside the chiller.

When my chiller was due for cleaning I would put 50/50 water and vinegar in a bucket and circulate the water through the inlet then backwards through the outlet and feed the tubbing to a filter sock to trap the gunk or algae.
