Ok this last week I just had an acro SPS go full RTN on me... 75% in about 4 days... While the coral was RTN'ing my Yellow Long Nose has been picking in and around the coral. Has any one had their LNB's bother with their SPS corals?
I suspect that the LNB is just "cleaning up", and not the major cause of the damage...

I introduced a 4" copperband this week. The aptasia were eaten within 4 hours. While he's acclimating to my regular feeding of frozen or live brine he's noticed the galaxia but won't eat it or the shrimp.

I just got a small Klein's the other day who is bound for my reef but I don't have a ton of coral. He's in QT right now. Really cool fish, inhales pellets like it's his job!

Wonder if mine was a QM fish... My LFS mostly stocks QM fish but they didn't have the QM tag for my Klein's.
This is my first butterfly and man was I missing out. Such a pretty fish. Trying to think of how I can swing more. There's a nice Yellow Longnose on DD and I do have a credit with them.... How often should I be feeding my Klein's in QT? Right now I'm doing once a day - would like to do at least 2 but I worry about ammonia spikes especially when I drop down to hypo.

I know they're coral munchers but thinking in your tank, maybe they would "learn" from the others? |

Those black outlined scales vs. the stripped bars....
To me- I really like them.. Not worried about the frags-(very small "chips" from a buddy) if I loose them, kinda put them in because I was curious if they would taste good- I have a good trap as well. Thanks! |

Just found this. :3 Hemitaurichthys polylepis feeds on zooplankton, and then there's a bunch of butterfly/bannerfish that feeds on non-coralline inverts. Most are either facultative or or obligatory coral feeders tho. |

Just curious, how much impact does that semilarvatus have on your corals?
Beautiful tanks btw. |

+1 would love to know this. Semilarvatus is my dream fish but I assumed they would destroy everything.

I had great success with ornate in the large sps tank. But don't try this if you want your corals alive. !!
