lol they are 2nd most dosile to the crosshatch in their eating habits. they eat out of the water stream, that is one reason i got it.

Mr Aqua has a beautiful Picasso trigger as of 1/2 an hour ago, $39. I am so tempted but they like to eat inverts as they get older.

Murf, nice Sargassum, I did see it at Seascape the other night. Are they reef safe, because I would like to get one down the road some time?

Murf, I had a Picasso that was only about 3 inches, and it ate two cleaner shrimp within an hour. I don't think they are very good for your reef.

Joe, it depends on your definition of reef safe. With inverts such as cleaner shrimp they are a crap shoot. I am trying the experiment right now of multiple Sargassum in the same tank, we'll see how this one goes. If you are willing to risk any of your inverts, i.e crabs and shrimp, this fish is one of the best IMO.

I had a picasso last year. Before it decided to commit suicide by geting trapped behind a circulation pump with its mouth above the water line, I noticed how it would take a chunk (you could hear the thud) out of my live rock and apparently eat the stuff in the rock as it did so. It occassionally would eat small crabs and cleaner shrimp. I can only imagine the havoc it would create as it got bigger. My only concern nowadays is my singapore. It tends to nip at my zoos.
