Finger leather question
I have a huge tan/cream sinularia coral (finger leather, see photo). Recently a small piece of similar looking coral popped up in my reef in contact with an encrusting frag of Sunset montipora (see photo). This looks exactly like my sinularia except it is much lighter and the polyps appear to have a green neon tint similar to the sunset montipora.
Is this green tinted leather a morph of my tan/cream colored leather due to contact with the montipora or just a hitchhiker sinularia that might have been attached to montipora frag? I’m thinking it’s a morph but curious what experienced reefers say. Thanks. ORG_DSC01928.jpgIMG_5612.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
