Hi All

I am back in this forum after 5 years, I last bought an 3 inch Achilies in 2010 Sept and had it for 9 months, after that I didn't buy any achilies. Now I paid deposit in a store in Toronto for 3 inch achilies which is eating at the store. Going to pick it up this weekend.

Pran

I doubt it actually does what it claims, also the reviews are quite poor http://www.amazon.com/New-Life-Spect...&sortBy=recent

I know it's not 100% achilles but I just had to share. Ive had him for 2 weeks now. It's hard to take a pic because he is so active and already eats out of my hand.

Thank you for your help

my achilie eats all the food now, so I won't buy this, bc it may stop eating other food too.

Had a Achilles arrive 4 days ago. Eating mysos, spirulina brine shrimp, pellets and working on nori. Great appetite. Currently in my 75 gal QT, then into the 300.

Here is a pic of mine, still alive and kickin. Eats everything including out of my fingers. Key is flow and open swim space

Wow ReefPharmer that's one beautiful specimen you've got there ... only a few more weeks until mine arrives.

I lost my Achilles due to being in a small holding tank while new replacement larger aquarium was cycling. I now only have a small 3.5" Achilles hybrid. He's doing great in the new tank.

Here 's a pic of my 6" achilles tang. I've had him for 4 days now. Only eats nori and brine shrimp.
Will a 45g quarantine tank be big enough to keep him happy?

Beautiful specimen you've got there, and yes as long as you've got the right flow;you should be able to qt him in there for another 4 weeks happily until he wants more swimming room.

There's a hybrid in my lfs but my tanks only five foot although it is extremely open and I have very high flow but think I may be on the small side. Although I have no other tangs and no plans of getting any.

New Achilles Tang that I picked up on Tuesday, tiny bit of whitespot but I'm gonna leave him be and see how is goes - if things get worse I've got some medicated food on standby.

just feed pe mysis or any other shrimp, rinse it, and then put selcon and garlic extreme and let it soak for 30 mins then feed it every day and it should get better

Treat it for ich. If you let it be it'll just infect your other fish.
