This is really all I can find "Vertex Aquaristik is releasing a big brother to their Illumina 200, the Illumina 260. There isn’t much information available on this new Illumina 260, but it is confirmed that the light will feature Cree LEDs and is 30% brighter than the older 200 model. If the 260 shares any similarities with the 2oo, it will probably also feature an on-board controller which will allow hobbyists to create many different dawn to dusk effects and even weather simulations. Additionally, the Illumina 260 will most likely come in a wide variety of sizes from 1′ to 6′. There is currently no official price or power consumption information on these models, as Vertex only announced the light a week ago, but as information comes to light, we’ll be sure to update."

I'll show you a link to the Illumina thread I found

I think so as their website has an Apple firmware for you to download.

The tank is 29,52 x 22,44 x 19,7 inch. The light is the 2 foot model it has 5 Led modules on it.

thanks for the firmware update.. I wasnt sure if it was a firmware thing or if new hardware was required.

coverage front to back is more than enough.. I have my light 4 inches off the water becuase of spill over. I imagine when i start putting livestock in the tank I will have to dim the lights.

Side to side is also more than enough.. you can clearly see the side spill over on the pictures ive posted above.

Although it says firmware, it is an application that is to be installed on the computer. From that V-Link application you can configure the settings for the lights.

I heard that someone has V1.5.26 for the V-Stick software and I am still using V1.5.22. Where can I find the V1.5.26 software download? Vertex web site has only posted the V1.5.22.

I'm also on 1.522, whats the difference between the 2 ?

Also i am curious to see what everyone is using for their expert settings, right now i have my white toned right back but the blues are in the 60's-70's range.
So far i am loving the light.

I don't know but I think for any newer version it will fix some bugs and add some new features, and then plant some bugs for future versions
