Thanks. It's exactly what I set out to do. Just a slightly longer shutter speed to get the effect. About 1.4 sec.

Kristaan, what a nice shot! It almost looks more like something my wife would paint rathe than a photo. The foreground in front and the sky behind just set off Weavers Needle. There is that?

For me it's the composition and combination of textures that works well.

Good job with the spider kalgra.

Thanks guys! Ill be honest though I really am not crazy about the composition on this one. I think the foreground is too busy and too heavily weighted on the left side but I was running out of light quickly so I had to run with it. This was taken about an hour outside Phoenix in the Superstition Mountains.
