Spotlight for Coral?

Aloha!

Is it possible to use normal lighting for most of the tank, and then add a light (probably LED) with a higher PAR value for coral? Like basically spotlight a coral to give it the right amount of light?

The only reason I'd do this is because the lighting I'll use in this next tank is strong enough for macros (it's a lagoon tank! ) but most likely not for most coral. I'm looking to do soft coral only, so I don't need strong lighting. All I'd do is some mushrooms, a little GSP and some Xenia. (Yeah I'm aware all three of those can be called weeds lol)
