Are you running reactors? If so, I'd go 12000, if not 6000. I'm running a 90 w reactors and fuge off my sp4 out what will be my dc12000

As of right now no plans for a reactor. This is my first sumped tank. I plan on trying to keep it simple by just bagging media. I'll go for the dc6000. Thanks for your input.

Sorry for the confusion.
Thanks!!
Gotcha, I suspected that, that's why I had to clarify.

All fixed.

Still thinking about it. If I do I can probably be the OC pickup if no one else steps up. Not sure how I would prove who is who though lol

that's the total cost for you to have it delivered to me. then when I get it I will split the order to go to 4 different locations (Ventura, SFV, IE and OC). I will deliver via my vehicle all the pumps that correspond to that particular location to a hobbyist that is in good standings within their area. at that point it is up to that individual to distribute the pumps to other hobbyist in that location. whether said person delivers them or has people come to them is based on agreement they come to.

your signature doesn't specify where you're from. so I want to also include that this is only open to those located in or near the predesignated areas.

that can be rather easy. if you don't know the person then you simply send them a pm with an individual password that they only would know and they have to say that word to you before handing over the merchandise. that's fairly simple and effective. that would thwart the dishonest from taking the list which I made puplic and using it to their advantage.

and to make it even more secure, I can privately solicit someone to be the central drop off and only give out that info to people who has paid. couple that with what I suggested above and we'd have no problems getting the pumps to the right people.

I can be the OC pickup location if people pick up from my office. M-F 10a-7p. I'm a block away from Coral Grazers.

I am interested in the DC 12000, but had 2 questions. The outflow diameter is 1and 1/2 inches. Will stepping this down to 3/4 inch which is the diameter of my return be a problem?
Does the pump come with the intake cover shown on the fish street website?

To answer your first question, not at all, it may effect head pressure but it wont harm the pump.
