Snail roundup
I have quite a few really big (2" and 2.5) snails that have to be rounded up and consigned to the sump, where there is stuff and rubble they can rifle without damage---their tendency to knock things off while grazing is a pain to somebody trying to establish corals, and they've done some unlicensed rearranging. That's my fault, not theirs. They'll be fine down there, noshing on stray food and what grows under the lights. And once the tank is 'grown out' they can be brought back to their happy home. It'll be some months on, but I rather like my monster snails and I do hope to reinstate them.
If you're setting up corals of any sort, exile your snails temporarily. You will want them back.
