This frag came from a wild colony. No ID, but is my favorite piece at this time:

My Red Dragon must be fraged.
After the change that I made in the fixtures support it starts to STN from the base.
I think it was because the light became too strong for it .
Yesterday I broke the colony in 2 pieces and put 1 piece in the small island, very close to the bottom and the other one in the big island, upper in the reef but not directly bellow any fixture.
Let's see if one of them can make it.

Alex

Hmmm, not necessarily. Many clown reefers that raise clown fry simply take out the rock the eggs are on and let them hatch in a fry tank. I'm not sure if it's possible to scrape the eggs off safely

First of all, after cut my Red Dragon in 2 pieces, the STN stoped and the frags look very good now.
I'm very happy that I could save it.

Besides that I also bought:

I like that coral a lot....Indeed a top 10 must have sps for me.
No other have that kind of deep dark green/turquoise color and the blue tips gave it a pop.
You can see it in several photos and angles and the color is just the same.

Thanks Bulent!
As I said before, there's a lot of planning in this setup.
This helps me when I doing the photos, for sure.

This is so inspiring! I love it! How do you keep your sand so perfect without any mountains of sand from the water pumps?

I am also redoing the rebirth of my tank and wanted to go bare bottom... your tank is not helping at all..

Hello Richard.

To be true, I have mixed feelings about the sand.....
Mine, actually, didn't become into a dune due to my circulation, wich is a little bit weak right now.
My tank is too wide and long and I'm having a hard time to tune the type, amount, location, mode of the circulation pumps.
Because os that, I think, I'm having some diatoms in the sandbed.
So, no mountains of sand, but a brownny plain instead...... :0/

Alex.
