Pest-free macroalgae?
I won't name the vendor, but the last time I ordered macroalgae for my refugium I soon after had a major digitate hydroid infestation.
Does anyone have a good source that preferably meets all of these qualifications: (1) you've obtained no pests (2) you've ordered recently (3) had a wide selection of macro (and maybe some inverts) (4) is grown in a controlled environment and not harvested Thanks in advance for any help!!! |

https://www.algaebarn.com I always use live plants. They don’t satisfy condition 4 except for a few items. Even algaebarn can’t guarantee “pest free”.
