How many LX7s for a 300g deep dimension
Vinny -
How many LX7s would be ideal for a 300g deep dimension? 72x36x27 Looking for maximum coverage with minimal shadowing. Seems like I would need 6 configured like this: ------------ | = = = | | = = = | ------------ Thanks! Seems like I would

Hi there,
As Slief said, 6 LX7s would be a good number. Since your tank is 36" front to back, having 6 units will provide more than enough light coverage and even-light distribution throughout the footprint of the tank. Better yet, you'll be able to position SPS anywhere in the tank without having to worry about it not getting enough light. |

They will be in a large canopy with lots of ventilation.

I would suggest positioning them so that they go with the length of the tank.
