Really nice tank and i noticed you have sps (my favorite) along with the powerhead pointed towards the front. How has that flow been for you?

I like it so far, it helps redirect the mp10's flow a bit and also helps keep things like food from going down the overflow. Keeps the surface water agitated really well too with the return pumps

Love this tank. I have been using radion xr15 pro, mp10, cad lights pls50 elite skimmer, magna fuge chaeto light for refugium and some GFO. Any other recommendations?

here is my fusion 40. going thru the cycle now. added some live rock from my 125 to help. thinking about switching out the socks for the baskets and wondering what you guys are using the mechanical filtration. i do not want a lot of detritus building up in the return section. looks like a pain to clean out. thanks for any input.

Tank looks great, I don’t use any mechanical filtration, I just make sure to clean my pumps periodically so they aren’t clogged up. Personally I don’t find it manageable to remove all my equipment and clean the back chambers so I don’t do it.

I have 8 fish and zero detectable nutrients so it hasn’t been an issue for me yet with a lack of mechanical. I do vacuum the sanded.

Here are a few more of my tank. Excuse the horrible pictures my horrible phone camera cannot weed out the blue. Ive got a new tank now and about six months before I do my upgrade.

Excited to see how this tank progresses though my acros have really started to take off at the one year mark.

Thanks. Fwiw when I use mechanical I have found that my nutrients rise unless you change them every day or two. What are your plans for your tank?

PNorris11; You sure like breaking all the Rules; Flame and Lemon Peel? I know wifes favorite. Then Wrasse and Anthias with no lid Just crazy... Tank is really looking amazing SPS are looking great.

Guys if you haven't seen In Tank makes some cool baskets for filter floss.

I'm getting on of the New IM red lights to see if I can grow some Cheato.. Will use In Tank Media basket for this one.

I do replace socks every few days, they don't hold up in washing machine so cleaning is a pain.

Will keep posted.

Yeah I know, I do keep the lid on sometimes but I should be better. The angels are great with sps but they do limit polyp extension. Color and growth is still good though so I live with it. I thought about pulling them when I upgrade but I’m undecided. If I keep them I’ll probably break some more rules and add a copperband lol. How’s the tank doing AZ?

I did have scare thing I was getting that bad nuciance Algae By.. something Also founf some bubble and grape too. all very small bits, and water wasn't showing anything out of norm. Very puzzling, did water changes and manually remove so far so good. Coral doing well and are the fish

If anyone was wondering, the aquamaxx hob 1.5 fits in chambers 2 and 4. Its built well and started pulling skim the first day. I went ahead and bought it and i like it alot.

Is that the Aquatic Life Hybrid? Do you like it? I’m adding the 48” version to my 120.

AZ - Bubble Algae is the worst, seems to stay going even with low to zero nutrients. You try a few emerald crabs?

Pnorris11. It is. I love it with my kessil 360. The only annoying thing is that theres two power cords for each ballast on the opposite ends. Its not that bad tho.

I added an emerald to help combat a tiny amount of his algae I got from swapping out my light fixture. Got a small emerald to reduce the chances of that happening, still see it grazing the rock. Haven't seen it yet to mess with my gobies

I had some bubble algae for a while. I bought two emerald crabs and they took care of it. I’ve seen them eating it which is cool. Any crabs can be hit or miss though. I have heard of emeralds misbehaving but they are better than most.

Yup cpr fuge medium on the left side of display tank with chaeto, mangrove, and matrix.

#1 chamber is media holder with filter floss, matrix, and purigen.
#2 chamber media reactor with gfo
#3 chamber ato tunze 3155, heater, stock pump
#4 chamber aquamaxx hob 1.5 (beast)
#5 chamber is another media holder for filtor floss, pump for my phosban 150 chaeto reactor.

Running two mp10s in a gyre formation. Dont think its working right.

Aqualufe hybrid life 24” with kessil 360.

I mainly use the white board to help me remember what if doses because i dont have dosers yet.

Well I'm unable to add HO Skimmer unless I want to drain tank. I put mine to close to wall.

Whats your thoughts on Matrix?

Just got In Tank media chamber to be come Refug, on new IM red light comes in.

Again very nice tank, Your Mushrooms are awesome!
